UPDATED 2019-2020 Little Seedlings Withdrawal and Enrollment Policy

Once you are enrolled in the 2019-20 Little Seedlings program and have secured your spot with the non-refundable Enrollment Fee and June payment, the decision of making any changes to a child’s schedule in the Little Seedlings program needs to be submitted in writing to the Sunflower Office Administrator at least four (4) weeks in advance of the requested program change.  Changes may include increasing the number of sessions per week (e.g. 2 full days to 5 full days), reducing the number of sessions per week (e.g. 5 mornings to 3 mornings) or switching between sessions (e.g. half-day mornings to half-day afternoons, 2 full days to 3 full days).

In the case of reducing number of sessions, thus the cost of tuition, the current program rate will be in effect for 4-weeks from the time Sunflower has been notified about the program reduction or until the day the actual change will take place. So if the requested change will happen in 5 weeks, the current rate will be in effect for 5 weeks. If the requested change will happen in 3 weeks, the current rate will be in effect for 4 weeks.

There will be a $100 change fee applied to the family account if the family reduces the number of the sessions for their child. In addition, the family is responsible for the 4-weeks tuition for the current program from the time they notified Sunflower.

There will be a $50 fee for switching between sessions. This fee will be waived if the change has been originated by Sunflower (e.g. space became available for those on waiting list).

There will be no fee for increasing the number of sessions, but the tuition for more sessions will be calculated from the day the Seedling started the new program.

Withdrawing from Little Seedlings

We understand that sometimes, for various reasons, families may make the choice to leave the Little Seedlings program before the end of the school year. In this event, we request that you submit a withdrawal letter in writing, indicating the last day your Seedling will be attending and reason for withdrawing.

We will need to receive your written notification at least four (4) weeks before the anticipated last day. The last month tuition needs to be paid regardless of attendance. In addition, there will be a $200 early termination fee* assigned to your account.

Before your child leaves the program we will conduct an exit interview to tie up any loose ends. Any tuition refund due to you will be handled at this time.

*Special exceptions (medical and family emergency) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
