It all started with a song.
Over 30 years ago, with little more than a guitar and a circle of friends, Susan Caruso led the very first class that would grow into Sunflower Creative Arts: a family sing-along called Circle of Song. That gathering blossomed into a community and, in time, into the Sunflower we know today.
The Sunflower Giving Grove is a relaunch of that original spirit of connection and care. Just as Susan planted seeds of music, play, and community all those years ago, today our Giving Grove members nurture the roots of Sunflower by providing steady, reliable support.
When you give $5 or more each month, you join a circle of friends who keep Sunflower’s programs thriving. Your tax-deductible monthly gift strengthens our Operating Fund, helping cover the gap between tuition and the true cost of programs. Most importantly, it ensures that children and families continue to grow in creativity, confidence, and compassion.
What’s new in the Grove: Members will now be invited to an annual Gratitude Dinner—a time to come together, celebrate the year’s impact, and honor the community that makes Sunflower possible.
